KIBU’s Office of Career Services Hosts Academic Visit by Secondary Schools

On 23rd May, 2024, the Office of Career Services at Kibabii University hosted eight (8) teachers and two hundred and fourteen (214) students from Namawanga Girls High School; twelve (12) teachers and thirty one (31) students from St. Chrispine Samia Girls; and ten (10) teachers and eighty (80) students from Kaptola Secondary for an academic visit.

The aim of the visit was to mentor the students and prepare them for life in University. The students were taken round various key sections in the University including the University Library, and given mentorship talks by Mr. Onex Opati, a lecturer and Coordinator of the Institute of Gender and Development Studies.
